After reaching the tracks, I headed south and eventually came to a bridge. Railroad bridges are great sound-rich environments, and I was approaching Forrest Hill Road where I wouldn't be able to record much except traffic, so I decided to take several recordings here.
While recording, I noticed that some of the planks on the right of the tracks were loose, so I set down the mics near a loose plank, started recording, and
walked along the planks to make them "rattle."

hmm, interesting how the rattle occurs at the beginning and then for the rest of sound clip its pretty quiet, observing the subtlety of the outdoor space. If this were a scene in a film, i can imagine someone walking in across the frame in front of the camera, we hear the rattle and as the person continues to walk through the space the sounds provide a useful sense of proximity to the environment.
